An overview on Brazilian Terrier Dog
The Brazilian terrier has been in existence for about a hundred years, one of two main breeds which were developed in Brazil. This feisty little dog is a pack hunter which wears down its prey by surrounding it and terrorizing it into submission. It is reputed to be an excellent rat dog. The breed is always eager to learn and in general has a charming personality, making it a good companion and house dog.
The height of the Brazilian Terrier is 35.5-40.5 cm (14-16 in) and its weight is 6.5-9 kg (14-20 lb).The short, smooth coat of the dog is tricolor with black saddle and tan markings on a white grounding. Brazil has another dog breed, known as the Brazilian Greyhound, which is probably a cross between the English Greyhound and a Foxhound. |
