A Pomeranian Dogs

The smallest of the spits breeds, the Pomeranian now weighs from 1.8—3.5 kg (4-5.5 lb), bitches being slightly larger than dogs, although dogs called by this name were often much larger in years gone by. The height of this breed is now usually 22-28 cm (8.5-11 in).

With a foxy outline to the head and nose and bright eyes, this breed has an intelligent expression and epitomizes liveliness and an extrovert temperament. Abundant in coat, it has a soft, fluffy undercoat and a long, perfectly straight outer coat which can be found in a wide variety of colors. Although small in size. because of the coat this breed requires care and dedication to maintain its attractiveness and good, clean condition, but for those prepared to put in the necessary work this is a vivacious companion with a sweet temperament.
