The Utility Group of Dogs

The utility group is probably the most disparate group, as the breeds within it are largely those which do not fit comfortably into any of the other group categories. When the various breeds began to be divided there was an initial division between sporting and Non-Sporting breeds and it is from the latter that the Utilities were eventually drawn out into a group of their own.
